Biography
Jāma Jandroković’s silvery voice and interpretive sincerity shine in performances of art song, her first musical love. The young American soprano has concertized throughout the United States, and has been heard in her home of New York City, at venues including Steinway Hall, the Nicholas Roerich Museum, the Kosciuszko Foundation, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
Ms. Jandroković begins 2005 by making her European debut with a concert tour of Croatia, culminating in a recital in the capital of Zagreb, then on to recitals in Germany at the Gasteig in Munich and the Konzerthaus in Berlin. In New York City, Ms. Jandroković will sing concerts at Steinway Hall and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Early fall of 2005 will see the release of Ms. Jandrokovićs debut recording, “Sweet, Stay Awhile” featuring songs of John Dowland and Henry Purcell.

Ms. Jandroković will collaborate with leading American composers Lori Laitman, Luna Pearl Woolf and the 2004 Pulitzer Prize winner for music, Paul Moravec, to present the world premiere of three new song cycles, written for Ms. Jandroković, based upon her collection of poetry, “Five Lovers”. The Five Lovers concert was released in 2006.
